La Fiesta de Tulsa 2025: Parade & Festival East Tulsa’s Largest Celebration of Hispanic Heritage

La Fiesta de Tulsa

La Fiesta de Tulsa is the largest East Tulsa’s signature celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month, a vibrant, family-friendly parade and cultural festival honoring the rich traditions, music, food, and heritage of the Hispanic and Latin American community.

Organized by the Tulsa Global District, the festival was first launched in 2023 with the goal of celebrating and honoring the diverse Hispanic and Latin American communities that enrich our city.

Growing Year by Year

Since its beginnings, La Fiesta de Tulsa has grown into the largest celebration of its kind in East Tulsa, welcoming thousands of attendees from across the region. The festival showcases cultural performances, local food and vendors, live music, and community pride, creating a space where all generations can connect and celebrate.

In 2025, La Fiesta de Tulsa introduced its first-ever community parade, a colorful procession of schools, folkloric groups, organizations, and families marching together in celebration of culture and heritage.

That same year, the event reached a historic milestone with the support of the Consulate of Mexico in Oklahoma City, bringing to Tulsa for the very first time an official “Grito de Independencia” ceremony, a deeply meaningful tradition observed across Mexico during its Independence celebrations.

The festival also featured a new collaboration with Tulsa Public Schools, highlighting the role of education, youth, and families in shaping the district’s future.
