Eligibility
Businesses must meet the following requirements:
Be a food licensed business operating inside the boundaries of the Global District
Be in good standing with the Oklahoma Department of Revenue, Tulsa Health Department, and the IRS.
Be willing to share sales performance data resulting from the campaign on a monthly basis.
Agree to participate in evaluation surveys after the program.
Priority Will Be Given To:
Businesses with an e-commerce website or presence on delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
Businesses with an active Facebook and Instagram business page already in operation (for campaign implementation).
Businesses physically located within the Tulsa Global District boundaries.
Ineligible Businesses
The following types of businesses are not eligible for this program:
Businesses not physically located in or serving the Tulsa Global District.
Marketing agencies, digital media consultants, graphic design firms, influencers, or businesses primarily offering digital marketing or content creation services. (These are excluded to ensure that the program’s resources go directly to small business owners who do not already have access to professional marketing expertise.)
Businesses engaged in political, lobbying, or speculative activities.
Financial institutions or lenders.
Any business operating in violation of federal, state, or local law.
Program Benefits
Selected businesses will receive:
Ad Design & Development tailored to their brand and goals.
Ad Management: Campaign scheduling and budget management by the Tulsa Global District team.
Lead Generation Strategy: To drive customer inquiries, orders, and visits.
Performance Support: Bi-weekly check-ins to measure impact and optimize results.
This is a fully managed and funded opportunity—businesses will not receive direct cash, but instead, a complete marketing campaign run on their behalf.
Participation Requirements
Awardees must:
Provide photos, logos, and business assets in a timely manner.
Create and share business-related content at least twice a week.
Maintain regular communication with their Tulsa Global District representative.
Follow up with leads and customers generated through the campaign.
Comply with Meta’s advertising guidelines.
Participate in follow-up meetings, training sessions, and reporting as requested.
Failure to participate or provide required materials may result in removal from the program.
Timeline
Applications Open: October, 2026
Deadline to Apply: October 30, 2026
Award Announcements: Within 2 weeks of application close
Campaign Period: December 2026 – February 2027
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all available awards are granted.
Connect Local is a digital marketing program that supports small businesses in the Tulsa Global District by creating advertising campaigns designed to help them reach customers and increase sales.
For the Food Edition, we are focusing on restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and other food businesses that already have an active website with online ordering or are listed on delivery platforms such as DoorDash, Uber Eats, and similar services.
Selected businesses will receive:
Professional ad design.
2 months of fully funded Meta advertising
Campaigns with direct calls-to-action that send customers to order online, visit a website, call, or send a message
