Night Market

With this event, we will celebrate Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month through food, performances, vendors, and music. The event will be held at Hannah Hall (1801 S Garnett Rd) on May 17, 2024 from 5 pm - 9 pm. This event is being planned by the Global District and APIDA Tulsa. The goal is to have 1,000 people in attendance at the event.

Our mission is to create a vibrant and inclusive event that promotes cultural exchange, inspiring community members to appreciate and celebrate diversity while recognizing the value and richness of cultural differences.

At this time, there are no more vendor spots for non-profits. If you are a non-profit interested in attending, you can fill out the form to join the waitlist.

Become a vendor

Your business is invited to have a booth at the AAPI Night Market, hosted by APIDA Tulsa and Tulsa Global District, to sell art, jewelry, crafts, or other handmade goods, or promote your business. Approximately 1,000 attendees are anticipated. If you are interested, please read the rules below and complete the application.

The deadline to reserve space and pay required vendor fees is 5:00 pm on April 30, 2024.

HOURS/SETUP

Date: May 17, 2024

Hours of Operation: 5pm – 9pm
Location: Hannah Hall (1801 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK 74129)
Set-up: Vendors will be allowed to start setting up 1.5 hours before opening. Late set-up will not be allowed.

Tear-Down: Vendors are expected to have cleaned up their booth area and left the premises by 1 hour after closing.

RULES

Allowable items: Business promo materials, art, jewelry, handmade goods, new handcrafted clothing, crafts, and packaged or prepared food.
Prohibited items: Include, but are not limited to, electronics, firearms or weapons, tools, furnishings, live animals, fresh fruits & vegetables, and any used or pre-owned goods. The prohibition of any goods is at the sole discretion of organizer.

Laws: Vendors are responsible for abiding by all applicable city, county, state and federal laws/regulations.

Sales Tax Permit: Vendors are required to submit a copy of their sales tax permit with their application. Contact the Oklahoma Tax Commission to obtain an application for a sales tax identification number. Vendors may obtain a sales tax ID number by visiting the OTC website (https://www.ok.gov/tax) and clicking the “Online Business Registration” link (typically a five day processing time), or visiting the Oklahoma Tax Commission offices in downtown Tulsa to obtain a permit in person. The fee to the Oklahoma Tax Commission for the required sales tax ID is $20.00.

BOOTH RULES

  • Vendors are responsible for any damage caused by their booth and other materials.

  • All vendors are responsible for carrying their own product liability insurance.

  • Fire safety regulations require that no portable fuel containers, oily rags or flammable trash be located in the area.

  • Each vendor is responsible for maintaining his/her booth area in a clean, neat manner throughout the day and for cleaning his/her area before departing at the end of the day. Trash bags will be provided.

  • There will be no electrical service provided.

  • Vendors should not attend the event if they are sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the 2 weeks prior to event.
