Winston Churchbus is the alter-ego of Tulsa drummer/songwriter Nicholas Foster. Originating as a recording project in 2016, Winston Churchbus was initially used as a statement of self-sufficiency, a creative foil to the collaborative (and often backseat) work Foster was pigeonholed into as a “drummer.” In the years since, it has opened up to be a celebration of community with more guests and input, but still revolving around the idea of songwriting and making each recording the most fully realized version of every song.
